ATFX Partners with ASWAQ Invest of Jordan and Opens New Office in Amman

ATFX is the newest provider of trading services to expand its presence in the Middle East. It recently established a cooperation with ASWAQ Invest, an Amman, Jordan-based brokerage and investment firm.

In addition, the FX and CFDs broker has launched a new office in Jordan with the intent of expanding its services throughout the Levant.

"Over the past few years, Jordan has reemerged as a major financial hub in the region, establishing a comprehensive regulatory framework under the JSC. Joe Li, the chairman of ATFX, stated in a statement that this has resulted in a safer and more secure trading environment. "In keeping with our further expansion into regulated markets and our commitment to providing our traders with real value and trading security, we are thrilled to join this robust framework and environment."

ATFX provides trading services under licenses issued by regulators in the United Kingdom, Cyprus, Mauritius, and Saint Vincent & the Grenadines. With the most recent cooperation with ASWAQ Invest, the Jordan Securities Commission gained jurisdiction over the brokerage's services (JSC).

The move into Jordan occurred after the broker disclosed that its trading volume for the first quarter of 2022 exceeded $400 billion. In addition, the number of active traders on its platform increased by eight percent from quarter to quarter.

Jordan: An Emerging FX Market?

In the meantime, ATFX is not the only broker expanding in Jordan. Several other brokers also launched operations in the country and recruited important personnel for regional expansion.
